The Dirty Dash Fun, Obstacle Run
The following post is sponsored by FitFluential LLC on behalf of Reebok.
Fun runs and obstacle races are becoming more and more popular these days. I’ve done a fun run once and plan to participate in an obstacle race in a few weeks. The Dirty Dash combines the two by being a fun run with obstacles! Unfortunately, the run is not offered in a nearby location, but check out if they are in a town near you: http://www.thedirtydash.com/locations. For now, they are mostly within the pacific northwest regions as well as a few in the northeast. Also on the website, you’ll find some great action shots of people participating in the race as well as a fun little video to get you to sign up. You can run as an individual or make it a group event (team building anyone?) There’s also a way to get a free registration when a friend signs up too.
Most runners I know plan months in advanced for their next race. But for a race like the Dirty Dash, you could probably do on a whim. The distances vary from 3-5 miles and although some obstacles may be a slight challenge, none are impossible. So why not dress up and go out on your first Dirty Dash today?
