The two things I look for in socks are the materials (cannot have socks that irritate my feet) and length (must not ride down into my shoe). I only time I want cotton anything is in the form of swabs and Q-tips, I don’t think I own any more cotton socks. They just aren’t comfortable! They’re usually very stiff and will irritate my feet and cause blisters while running. I’ve actually worn very short socks before and have not had them ride down into my shoe. I think that was only an issue when I was in high school, wearing cotton socks and folding calf length socks into my shoes to make them ankle height. I had no issues with the Balega Ultra Light No Show Running Socks and am a huge fan of these unique colors. Looking forward to many more runs in them!
