Jabra Sport & Active Headset Reviews

Jabra Sport Bluetooth Stereo Sports Headset

The Jabra Sport is a wireless Bluetooth enabled headset that is packed with countless features that will make all your other sport headphones out of commission. Jabra is a very well-known Bluetooth headset brand, anyone I know who has a headset has a Jabra. But most people didn’t know that they also have sport headsets and they’re definitely making a splash in the industry with the Jabra Sport. It is definitely not your ordinary Bluetooth headset. It’s ultra-light and easy to wear with a wrinkle-free, nano-coated flat cable that you can wrap around your neck. They come with 3 different Eargels depending on your preference for an always-on secure fit. It only takes 2 hours to fully charge the Jabra Sport but offers 4.5 hours of talk time, 3 hours of music time and 4 days of standby time. Checkout some of the features below:

The Jabra Sport also offers exclusive features when used with the Endomondo Sports Tracker. Endomondo is a fitness app that allows you to track your workout instantly (online and on your mobile phone).

Jabra Active Stereo Headset

The Jabra Active reminds me of most of those typical, generic headsets that you get when you purchase a new phone. But Jabra went on to add some really cool features to this headset to make it worth the time to use. It’s definitely tailored for athletes and like the name says: active individuals. Some standard features include: stereo sound quality with clear detailed sound reproduction, stereo headset for music and talk and a control box on the microphone to answer/end calls as well as skip tracks if you’re listening to music.

Some not so common features found on the Jabra Active headset: sweat and water resistant, ergonomically designed headphones for each ear which help isolate sound with uniquely shaped Eargels that securely and comfortably “lock” into the ear so they won’t fall out. The microphone also uses a wind-noise reduction technology so if you ever do get a call while outdoors, the caller will actually be able to hear you talk! The Eargels are ergonomically designed to follow the contours of the ear which allows a comfortable that stay securely in your ear.

I’ve used other earbuds before and have run into multiple issues on my runs and workouts. During harder runs or in the summer when I’m sweating a lot, I would run into issues where one of the earbuds gets too moist and they fall out, which gets pretty annoying. But an even worse issue that have happened multiple times is that too much sweat gets into the actual earbud and eventually stops working. The Jabra Active basically solves both of those problems. Add the fact that you can receive calls during a run and I’m sold!
