		<description>great week! yeah, the gel&#039;s vary with everyone. some people&#039;s stomachs don&#039;t agree with some brands but are OK with others. thankfully i haven&#039;t had any issues yet with any of the ones i&#039;ve encountered. i&#039;ve definitely &quot;tried new things&quot; on race day - big &quot;no no&quot;, i know! personally i like gu, but i&#039;ve also used clif shots and power bar gels. you need the water/gatorade with them to help wash it down. just kind of sticky.</description>

		<description>I&#039;m one of those that can&#039;t handle Gu. And, yes, the directions all say to take it with water. Once you ingest the stuff, you&#039;ll know why. It has a weird consistency and taste that coats your tongue and, in my case, makes me quite thirsty - even with water. It also tears up my stomach, but I think that&#039;s rare. I will say, those energy gels do give you an energy boost shortly after they hit your bloodstream.</description>
