Had these for 5 months myself and they are a very good shoe. The sole has no wear after 325 miles of off road running. The only weak spot seems to be the upper which is beginning to suffer now as all my off road winter runs are wet and muddy. Some parts of the upper are cracking a bit but not excessively.

I would also say the tread pattern of the sole has some room for improvement to give more grip in mud and I think could be achieved without compromising the performance of the shoe in other respects.

I've had my Xoduses for about 6 months now and have run them on everything but pavement; gravel, sand, rock, and at 11000 feet in the mountains and have never had a better pair of trail runners - they are well ventilated, very 'grippy' and fit my feet as have all the Saucony's I've ever had. No complaints but buyers need to know that the ventilation is so good that water comes in easily - not a problem if you have a couple of plastic bags to put inside your shoes over your socks when you cross those streams or dew or run in any moisture at all.
