		<description>Your age group is also really competitive, so nice job!  I&#039;ve learned to take each race as it is, and not all races are PRs.  Keep an open mind. 

Running with a pace person isn&#039;t really cheating.  It gives you an idea of where you&#039;re at, sort of.  I was just ahead of the 2:15 pace person, and I found that helpful.

I hope you did a little celebrating after the half marathon!</description>

pacers aren&#039;t at all races, but they are at some halves and fulls (usually larger races vs. small, obviously). they are usually for slower paces too, so you lucked out finding a 1:30 guy! i have never thought of it as &quot;cheating&quot; before - maybe more like, a run with a friend?</description>
